Today’s devotional is all about: Trading What If’s for the Power of Prayer

“Call to me, and I will answer you.” (Jeremiah 33:3) We have a promise that He hears us: "You will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." (Jeremiah 29:12

Did you know there is Power in Prayer?

Even scientists and medical journals say that Prayer speeds healing, lowers heart rate, and relieves stress, but a life of prayer goes way beyond these simple health benefits.

If prayer is something you’d like to make a habit, or you just don’t know where to start, today’s show guides you through:

7 Different Ways to Quiet the What If’s and Begin Practicing the Power of Prayer

If praying is new to you, don’t overthink it, and don’t think you have to be perfect to talk to God.

He wants to meet you right where you are. He is a loving Father.

Here are some simple ways to pray and even make it a habit.

  • Pray the Our Father.

  • Tell God how grateful you are.

  • Tell God what you need.

  • Pray His Word back to Him.

  • Write in a journal what you’re praying for and all the prayers He’s answered, because He’ll do it again.

  • Pray expectantly knowing that your Father in Heaven loves you.

  • Look for prayer moments in your life.

Pick a time of day and a place in your house where you spend time with God, and make it a daily routine.

>>>Only God can turn what if’s into peace and powerfully steady the mind.<<<

Sometimes we forget that we are children of God. So here’s a loving reminder...

I want to pray for you to trade the worry of what if for the power of Prayer.

Dear God,

You are a good, good Father. Quiet the what if’s and any negative thoughts from our hearts and replace them with the power of your presence.

We have You as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul. Without you we fall apart.

Speak to our hearts, Father, we need you.

Today we trade the what if’s for the power of prayer.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

There is power in the name of Jesus!

Praying says, “I can’t God, but I believe You will.”

A Pastor that I have listened to for years says, fight every battle on your knees, and you’ll win every time.

Isn’t that so good...

I know you’re going to find so much faith-filled value and inspiration from this episode. Tune in and enjoy!
