Ever feel like life is going by and you're just sitting there watching it?

You do things to get through the day, check the boxes and complete the tasks.  And then one day, it hits you and you're sick and tired of the routine and you feel like a mindless mess that's running on autopilot.

Things need to get done, especially when you have kids and you're running a household. It's a tight ship that needs its Captain to steer. There is little time to dwell, to stop and reflect, to take a break.

I work full-time and I barely have 2 minutes to pause and smell the roses, to appreciate the simple things.   Yes, I know it's the little things that we should savour, not take for granted so that we can experience true joy. But how can we appreciate those simple things when it's the big things we worry about?
