You are in for a treat today on today’s podcast. Today I interview Nichole Van with is an acclaimed photographer and self-published author of eight fiction novels. A little over a year ago, she and her husband decided to throw caution to the wind and moved their family to Scotland. During our chat we talk about what it’s like to independently move to another country, how her love for photography came about, and how her love of reading helped her process the death of her brother which led to her taking the leap to start writing her own books. If you are thinking about writing a book, you will want to take a listen. She gives lots of good insight into the experience she has with putting her work out into the world, being self-published, and some good tips for making sure you don’t burnout. The last part of the interview is my favorite because she talks about how she and her husband have worked together and divided the responsibilities in their home, something that seems to have been beneficial for both of them. The reason I decided to interview Nichole was because I think she truly does live her life on purpose. I learned a lot from talking with her and I hope you all enjoy and learn from her as well.
