We teach our kids a lot of things - some big and some small. One of the big things we are responsible to help them learn and manage is money. On the podcast today I interview Sarah Cook. After observing one of her children, Sarah realized she needed to learn how to help him have the ability to make his own money and be successful if he chose not to go to college. Her research led to interviewing many children and their parents from around the world who had successfully started businesses. She and her husband, Jerry Cook, decided to compile all they learned into a book called "The Parent's Guide to Raising CEO Kids". We discuss why the book is helpful not only to parents of children wanting to start their own businesses but really anyone wanting to start a business. We also chat about how Sarah herself had to change her money stories and how that has led her to be a successful entrepreneur herself.
