My guest today is Bianca Smeekes, from Christchurch, New Zealand.

She is an NLP Master Practitioner, Life Coach and Lightning Process Practitioner, passionate about teaching others how they can begin to influence their own health.

Bianca works with clients who get "stuck" with ongoing mental or physical symptoms and is passionate about the mind - body connection.

In 2011 Bianca developed pelvic pain - diagnosed as vulvodynia, central sensitisation syndrome, and interstitial cystitis. She experienced these symptoms for 2 years, then she stated to develop more widespread fibromyalgia symptoms. This included tingling limbs, aches, numbness, and burning hands.

She had exhausted most traditional avenues, until a therapist asked if she had any counselling after being involved in the Christchurch earthquakes. When she started getting earthquake trauma therapy, things became clear that this was the trigger of her symptoms. She started retraining her brain, resolving deeper emotions and her symptoms started to disappear.
