Have you ever felt the pressure to be at a certain place in your career, have a certain amount of money, be married, have kids, or any number of life accomplishments by a certain time? We certainly have. Somehow, we get caught up in these self-and-societally imposed timelines of what life “should” look like by a certain age. Frankly, fuck that noise. Life looks so different than it did 50+ years ago, why should we expect the same things from ourselves? And do we even want those things in the first place? Life doesn’t have to be defined by a specific timeline for it to be well worth living. We can have the Best Life, just by deciding it is.
