Ep. 286: Coveting Someone Else's Body - a podcast by Danny-J Johnson & Jill Coleman
from 2023-12-13T16:02:35.553311
You’d be hard pressed to find a woman today who never hated something about her body. Our society is so focused on how we look, and it’s hard not to covet what we can’t have. But that’s the important part: we can’t have it. Sure you have have surgery, you can diet and work out, but so much of how we look comes down to genetics. But you just can’t change your DNA, no matter how badly you wish you could. Instead of channeling your feelings into body hatred, surround yourself with people who make you feel good, learn to love what you have, and realize that we are worth so much more than how we look.
