Some endometriosis surgeons are now requiring their patients to sign medical NDAs stating they will not share negative reviews about the doctor online. But who is this benefiting and what are they trying to hide?

Constructive criticism and honest reviews of doctors are SO IMPORTANT in the our endo community. Especially with so many of us and so few well trained doctors. As a patient, when you are trying to find a surgeon who is going to cut you open you deserve to know their surgical history, the good and the bad.

When mistakes are kept secret and pushed under the rug how will the doctor  learn from their mistake? Will they continue the poor care / mistake / malpractice / whatever it was that they are trying to hide?

In this episode Chelsea shares what a medical non-disclosure agreement is. What are the benefits and concerns? Do they actually benefit the patient? Do they hold up in a court of law, are they enforceable or are they an intimidation tactic?
