ABOUT Nada Ahmed
Nada Ahmed is currently Vice President Innovation at Aker Solutions, a leading engineering and technology supplier to the offshore energy industry. Nada has 14 years of project management and leadership experience in the Offshore Energy and Maritime Industry. Over the past 7 years, she has been leading various Innovation and business development teams with a special focus on digital transformation.
She is currently serving on the Board of Directors at Greig Maritime Group, one of Norway's most prominent shipping companies focused on ship operation, ship brokering, logistics and maritime solutions for the industry. She is also head of the board of the Polytechnical society Digital Leadership Community and on the advisory board of Noroff School of Technology and Digital Media.
Nada has expertise within Innovation and digital strategy, new business development and has led teams from early-stage innovation up to testing of new technologies, scaling and supporting their implementation into the market.
Nada is an avid voice in topics concerning Innovation, Digital Transformation, Agile leadership and Design Thinking, and is often invited to speak on these topics.
Nada has a Bachelors from the University of Richmond, Virginia and a Masters of Science in Environmental Analysis from Rice University in Houston, Texas.
Nada was on the 2020 list of Top 50 Women in Technology in Norway, awarded by Abelia and ODA network and on the 2021 honour list for high achieving overseas Pakistanis under 40 awarded by the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan.
Nada is also heading a non-profit organization that she co-founded in 2015, TCF Norway (affiliated with The Citizens Foundation), focused on providing quality education to underprivileged boys and girls in Pakistan. Read more at: www.tcfnorway.org
