For today’s episode I spoke with Laura, a former health management student from Germany. Laura is a type 1 diabetic herself and wrote her final Bachelor thesis about the impaired quality of life in type 1 diabetes patients (T1Ds). To explore how those people manage their diabetes and how it effects their psyche, she interviewed many type 1s between 18 and 25 years. In this episode, we speak about her main findings. Her work contributes greatly to type 1 awareness to optimise medical care we receive.

The interview is in GERMAN, but we summarised Laura’s main findings in English on my BLOGCAST: www.thehappytypeone.com/blogcast
