Hey guys and Welcome to the Pacing & Racing Podcast. The Canadian Triathlon Podcast Made In Mind for the Age Group Triathletes.

I am REALLY excited to say that today’s episode I get to interview one of my inspirations in this sport and it is the IRONMAN Historian himself; Bob Babbit!

Now if you were on social media in October and follow anything to do with triathlon then I am sure you came across the amazing Breakfast with Bob Interviews that were recorded down at the IRONMAN World Championships. Bob has such an incredible way of connecting with all of the pro triathletes and it’s super inspiring for me to watch seeing as I am following in similar footsteps; interviewing triathletes and trying to find the inspiration and motivation through asking the right questions.

Now Bob’s love for triathlon dates all the way back to the third ever IRONMAN triathlon which he goes into detail talking about in this episode and it’s a must hear story and its amazing to see how much triathlon has since evolved over the years.

So most of you may already know on the side of the Breakfast with Bob Video Interviews, he has been doing a radio and podcast program dating back to 1990. So if there is any true IRONMAN interviewer this is the guy and I am absolutely humbled today to get to be the one to interview him!

In this episode you’ll hear all about his legacy, what he finds so passionate and exciting about triathlon that he wants to share with the world, and we go over some funny stories, motivational stories, and even go over some motivational key takeaways that we can all learn from and incorporate into our triathlon training as well as our daily lives.

It’s an excellent podcast today so sit back, relax, and enjoy the episode!
