Today both myself and co-host of the Triathlon Sideline Chat Jenna-Caer Seefried have the exciting opportunity to interview the legendary Chris McCormack! 


So to quickly highlight Macca’s accolades, he is known as one of endurance sport’s most iconic athletes. Globally regarded as the best triathlete of his generation, Macca rose through the ranks delivering wins in 250 international races and landing on the podium 89% of the time. Macca owns one of the best athletic winning percentage statistics in modern sport, including a win streak of 35 races straight!


He’s the only male to win the World Championships across all distances of triathlon and aside from racing accolades he is also the most financially successful triathlete in the world. Being the CEO of Bahrain Endurance13 and the Super League Triathlon; he has been an integral part in shaping the future of the sport as well as bringing the sport to where it is today. 


After some incredible showdowns at last couple of weeks between Mainova European Championships at IRONMAN Frankfurt and Challenge Roth; we sit down with Chris to get his insight and thoughts on these races and hear about some of the stories that shaped these two races into what they are today!
