Today’s guest is the up and coming Super League Triathlete from New Zealand; Hayden Wilde!

So, I am super excited for this episode because Hayden has had made an incredible name for himself in Super League Triathlon and is only in his early twenties! Super League Triathlon is an amazing series of the sport that is definitely standing up to the usual IRONMAN series format in which we are all used to! Now I have only ever personally raced IRONMAN style of triathlon, but I can see why many triathletes are so enticed to move to the super league format! I mean after all, they have some of the best athletes, its always held in exotic and iconic destinations, its super entertaining for spectators, there is BIG BIG prize money, its across the globe and its multi-day racing events!

Now, Hayden Wilde is currently ranked 8th in the men’s Super League series against a very stacked lineup with names like Johnathan Brownlee, Richard Murray and Vincent Luis to compete against.

I am excited to talk about a number of topics with Hayden like;

- His backstory of how he got into Triathlon and more specifically, what made him move into to the Super League Triathlon

- What he loves about Super League Triathlon and talk about how it differs from the IRONMAN branded format of Triathlon

- And we will discuss everything about super league triathlon from how it works as far as the point system, the different formats of racing, and even how you can join a race as an age grouper!

- Hayden also gives us some amazing insight on how we can train to prepare for a series of racing like this compared to training for an IRONMAN style of race!

Cheers! Hope you all enjoy it!
