Creative Marketing with Epic Records, Dylan Brewer | EP 48 - a podcast by The Set Up Series

from 2021-07-21T12:00

:: ::

Dylan Brewer is the Senior Director of Marketing at Epic Records and had a recent success with Ozzy Osbourne’s launch of the largest release event for Ordinary Man. He was one of two people who booked over 57 tattoo parlors in anticipation for Ozzy's release. Dylan knows the value of branding for artists and being able to tell a story with their music.

Prior to Epic Records, he started his career at Google in Music Partnerships collaborating with artists such as Ariana Grande, Sam Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Demi Lovato, and The 1975. He then left to work in Marketing at Def Jam Recordings where he worked with Justin Bieber on his ‘Purpose’ album.

Today we will be discussing creative marketing strategies for new albums.
