Standing in your spirituality and knowingness with Susan and Parchelle:

  • Parchelle’s personal, spiritual journey in leaving the tradition of the church she was raised in and what wisdom she has learned through the experience.
  • Handling the passive-aggressive judgment and condescension from those in your life while finding your own heart’s path.
  • The difference in belief versus knowing and making experiences your own.

Key Takeaways:

  • Higher power doesn't mean that it has to be this benevolent kind of God or spiritual or religious kind of entity. It's about connection and digging deep into what is important to each individual person.
  • You don’t have to follow any particular religion (organized or not), faith, or tradition to have questions or doubts in any belief that was ingrained and conditioned from a young age. We doubt our questions because the rules tell us we aren’t “supposed” to have those questions or we’re not supposed to try to find the answers. This is not true. Have spiritual conversations, explore, and ask about what it means to be human.
  • We're after the same thing...we're after connection. Be open to acknowledge and celebrate other people who feel excited about something that they're doing. It'll open you up more to be receptive to the things that are naturally happening for you.

"Do the work of distinguishing between your beliefs and what you actually know to be true. Make that work, and that inner dialogue we already have anyway, part of the conversation too." —  Parchelle Tashi

About Parchelle Tashi: Parchelle Tashi is a former high school math teacher, now entrepreneur and video producer for the past 10 years. Her production company Fresh Level, built up multiple locations of operations, producing hundreds of videos nationally and internationally for organizations like Sea World Busch Gardens, The Wharton School, and Spectrum.

It wasn’t until she ended her 28-year-long devoted relationship with the church, that Parchelle began to discover who SHE really is. This experience of freedom has completely transformed her life and the way she serves others today.

Parchelle believes self-awareness is what makes the grueling process of creating video 10x more effective, profitable, and enjoyable, no matter the size of your business. As creator and instructor of My Video Playtime, everything comes full circle, as she teaches kids and adults the basics of making videos. Her students grow in confidence, build a relevant skill set, and boost their creativity.
