Sam and Julia are the co-founders of TeachStrong. Having worked as teachers they know first hand the challenges that the teaching profession involves. Their mission is to empower teaching staff to prioritise themselves in order to take care of others. Looking after the wellbeing of those who are there to inspire the future generation is no small task. I for one as a parent value the role teaching staff play in shaping the lives of our children. The role of a teacher is so much more than teaching children academics. They are role models, councillors, friends and so much more. Teachers give so much of their energy to the children and often forget to look after number one.

That’s where TeachStrong come in. They offer online and in person courses and workshops that focus on nutrition, movement, inner growth, sleep and community. In this episode we discuss what motivated them to start TeachStrong, the challenges facing teaching staff and they expand on their 5 pillars and explain why these are so important.
