Merhan Keller is an Egyptian born entrepreneur, model, and activist. In this episode, she shares how and why she started the #MeToo Movement in Egypt after revealing the sexual harassment and misconduct of a famous footballer. 

Merhan dives into the cultural, familial, religious, and societal conditioning that has contributed to the harassment, assault, and violence of Egyptian women. 

She shares about her experience growing up in Egypt, as well as her experience being away from her home country.

Merhan explains how this movement has changed and/or created multiple Egyptian laws, and how she continues to fight for systemic, long-lasting change.
