Join Joyce & Heather Salazar, CEO of Pink Ribbon Girls, for a casual conversation you can walk to. Listen in on a story of what it really means to follow your heart, and hear the importance of being an advocate for your own health and wellbeing, as well as the importance of supporting one another.

About Heather:
Heather Salazar is the CEO and President of Pink Ribbon Girls. Heather graduated with a B.S in Psychology from Wright State University in Communication and Social Work. Heather took her experience of caring for the mother of her adopted child at the end of her battling Stage 4 breast cancer and her personal experience having been diagnosed with the same breast cancer at 31. This experience helped Heather lay the foundation of the mission of PRG, and felt it was vital to provide free rides to treatment, healthy meals, housecleaning, and peer support to PRG clients.

Heather and her family have been featured in People Magazine, interviewed on the Today Show and most recently the Tamron Hall Show last October in honor of breast cancer awareness month.

Heather resides in Ohio with her husband Steve and is blessed to have four amazing children. Heather often shares this, "Living a mediocre life was never for me. After cancer, I chose to really LIVE every minute and to give back. PRG is my heart and these families mean the world to me."
