Why is it important to increase the number of women in STE(A)M fields (Science, Technology, Engineering Arts and Maths)?

What challenges do women in this  field face? 

How can more women in STEM close the gender pay gap?

These questions and more are addressed in this and upcoming episodes, and will aim to highlight a wide variety of avenues available to women with different scientific endeavors, ranging from arts to STEM fields.
