As an educator, activist, community organizer, and healer, Alejandra "Purple" Liera is dedicated to creating community, connection, and collaboration with and through sisterhood. Her platform, the WOC Sister Collective, is a platform for womxn of color to share their gifts, find their voice, and step into their power.
In this episode, Purple discusses how she began fostering her own community of sisters, particularly after growing up with certain messages about being friends with women, which influenced how she showed up in friendship. A huge takeaway from our conversation is how we need to stop comparing ourselves to other women and begin to meet each other where we are to cultivate strong bonds through sisterhood as a form of healing.
We also talk about:

Meeting people where they’re at
How the world is shifting in how we create relationships
