My tribe today I bring you a very special guest Honorable Sadia Anjum Ashrafi. She is a brilliant scientist from Bangladesh and I completed my B.Pharm, M. Pharm, and MPH from Bangladesh. Currently, She is a PHD student in the department of community health of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign(UIUC is also my Alma Mater). She is conducting research on hemodialysis patients. In addition, she is working in The Renal and Cardiovascular Disease Research Laboratory in the UIUC under supervision of Dr. Kenneth Wilund. Her lab’s research interest is nonpharmaceutical interventions to reduce mortality and improve quality of life of CKD patients. We also have the same public health mentor Dr. Jerry Ogbudimkpa at UIUC McKinley Health Centers Special Populations team.
