Welcome to this Yin Yoga which is for completely new beginners. In this beginner's Yin Yoga we have shorter holds to get familiar with the Yin Yoga practice. We move into each Yin pose with all our attention and a connection with the breath. As a complete beginner to Yin Yoga, get familiar with the style and allowing yourself patience when arriving at each posture. We try and resist coming out of the pose to work into deep tissue.

Yin Yoga is different from other styles because we relax and surrender in the postures allowing the time we spend in the Yin pose to soften us layer by layer. If you experience any burning or pain, you must come out, but otherwise, see if you can move through the ache that can arise from holding our Yin poses. I hope you enjoy it. I use a time bar and a bell when we arrive in and when we are coming out. Leave me a comment to let me know how your practice goes.
