As 2019 comes to a close, it is a great time to reflect on the past year and then to turn our focus toward the New Year in anticipation of good things to come. In this episode, I share with you a ritual that I started three years ago and will continue as a new decade approaches. Choosing a word that is emblematic of who I am, what I want more of in my life, and or what I plan to contribute to others. This word sets the stage for writing my intention for the year. Not to replace goals, but to exist alongside them. I share a famous quote that serves as inspiration and reminds us that our Words Matter, as they lead us to our destiny. I encourage you to consider naming your word that reflects who you are, who you are becoming, and how you want to contribute to others. Then, using your word(s) set your intentions for 2020. In the episode I mention an article by Marla Tabaka in Inc. Magazine, https://www.inc.com/marla-tabaka/setting-goals-isnt-enough-setting-daily-intentions-will-change-your-life.html If you have been enjoying Your Aha! Life, let me hear from you.
